How Rhia spent her Christmas vacation

So we survived the holidays (barely), and we're returning to a semi-normal schedule/life. Al started up winter quarter today. We spent most of the break snowed in, so the three of us got some real quality time together! Rebecca was out for Christmas, so Rhia spent some time with her (we did too, I guess). Instead of posting a bunch of pictures from Christmas I'm just going to link the web album:

We had a great time, and Rhia was incredibly, incredibly spoiled by all of her family members.

She's getting so grown up! She's seven months old now, I can't believe it! She sits by herself, can stand if we're holding her hands (and today she let go of one of my hands for a bit--she's getting brave!), and loves her big-kid food. She's taken to snatching stuff off of my plate if I'm not looking! She can also wave--I got it on video today, but can't find the cord for the camcorder, so when I find it I'll post the video. She loves to wave at people! No crawling yet--she's decided to just roll over every time I put her on her belly, so who knows. She'll lean forward onto her hands while she's sitting, and eventually wind up on her belly, but I don't think she's in a hurry. I keep being reminded of when I was still pregnant with her, and she took her sweet time to be born. She's a stubborn thing.

She was hamming it up for the camera today, which is rare:

And enjoying some of the finer things in life...: (Disclaimer: we did NOT give her Pepsi. It was just one of those little cans, and we thought it was Rhia-sized!)
